He works to ensure academic systems remain adaptable as industries shift toward real-time workflows, immersive media, AI-assisted pipelines, and new forms of digital production. His leadership helps position CEA programs around future relevance rather than static curriculum models.

Mabelle Sawaqed brings more than 15 years of international business development and market-entry experience across public and private sectors. Prior to joining CEA, she worked with Canadian institutions entering UAE and MENA education markets, building partnerships and operational frameworks across regions. At CEA, she oversees international operations, implementation systems, new campus launches, and institutional coordination. Her role focuses on aligning timelines, stakeholders, staffing, operational processes, and delivery infrastructure so programs can scale effectively across multiple regions and partnership models.

Matthew Holdenried

Matthew Holdenried brings content, publishing, and entertainment marketing experience connected to brands including Electronic Arts, Warner Bros, and Square Enix. Since joining CEA in 2019, his work has evolved beyond traditional marketing into institutional narrative strategy, educational positioning, student experience communication, and long-term growth systems. His focus is on translating mentorship, critique culture, professional identity development, and creative learning psychology into messaging, partnerships, and scalable communication frameworks that accurately reflect the student journey.

Felix Wong is a CPA and CGA with extensive expertise in finance, reporting, strategic planning, and institutional operations. His work helps ensure the organization maintains the infrastructure necessary for staffing, production technology, facilities, and scalable delivery. Michael Bradbury

Director of Education

Leads curriculum systems, academic quality, instructor support, and game technology education.

Michael is a specialist in gaming education, curriculum design, and digital transformational learning. With a BSc Hons in Game Design, PGCE, NPQSL, MA in Education, and a PhD in progress, he brings academic depth to program design and instructional strategy. As the first Unreal Authorized Instructor in the UAE, he connects industry, government, and education while building curriculum structures, content libraries, and teaching systems that support faculty and keep academic quality aligned to real production needs.

Jon-Jon Atienza

Jon-Jon Atienza

Guides animation students through character, form, motion, performance, and production craft.

Jon-Jon is an animation and FX artist whose credits include award-winning shorts such as Skin for Skin and the Oscar-nominated National Film Board short The Flying Sailor. After more than a decade with Fifteen Pound Pink Productions, he now teaches full-time through CEA programming. His academic work emphasizes character, form, timing, performance, and the subtle production choices that allow animated work to feel alive across independent and commercial environments.

Subhadarshi Tripathy

Director of Film Programs

Brings global media experience into film education, story development, and audience strategy.

Subhadarshi is a media and entertainment executive with more than 20 years of experience building global content platforms. His work spans trend analysis, production collaboration, international formats, animation, and award-winning media. He has received the Prix Jeunesse and Asian Television Awards’ Best Talk Show Award, served as lead animator on India’s first animated feature, and screened work at Hiroshima and Mumbai International Film Festivals. In the classroom, he translates that experience into practical guidance on story, audience, production judgment, and sustainable creative careers.

Sean brings a Master’s in Computational Media Design that bridges computer science and fine arts. A lifelong gamer, educator, and researcher, he has taught programming, game design, educational games, and designed escape-room experiences. His published work spans information visualization, human-computer interaction, and computational music. At CEA, he treats game technology as a language for future communication, interaction, and complex systems, helping students explore experimental interfaces and new modes of play.

Gary has more than a decade of experience across video games and esports and helped develop the world’s first accredited esports qualification. At CEA, he builds partnerships across institutions and industry, working with companies including Riot Games, Tencent, Microsoft, and Dell. His academic approach treats esports as a training ground for cognitive skills, teamwork, broadcast literacy, competition, content creation, and inclusive global career pathways.

Siddharth Roy is a creative media professional with more than two decades of experience across performance, content development, media education, theatre, international cinema, and television. His career includes creating and adapting formats for global audiences while working across storytelling systems and collaborative production environments. At CEA, he brings that breadth into the classroom, guiding students through story, performance, collaboration, and the development of work that can connect across cultures, platforms, and audiences.
